Weaving a route from South Tottenham all the way down to Holloway, Seven Sisters Road is flanked by multicultural cafés, delis and stores. Living in Seven Sisters, you’ll be at the heart of one of London’s busiest and most diverse thoroughfares.
Named after seven elm trees growing in a ring, believed to be planted by seven sisters choosing separate paths in life, the sub-district has been an important part of the Tottenham area since the eighteenth century.
Seven Sisters is less than an hour walk from the trendy North London neighbourhoods Stoke Newington and Archway, and also well connected to Central London by a 15-minute ride on the Victoria Tube line.
So, here are the best places to visit on and around Seven Sisters Road and Station.
True Craft
Delivering the classic combination of authentic Italian pizza with great London pints, True Craft is a chilled hangout near Seven Sisters train station. Originally an old Victorian pub, today the venue mimics a stylish warehouse with exposed brick walls and bar tiles.
All of the pizzas have been crafted to perfection with a 48-hour proved sourdough base and ingredients from local suppliers. You can expect all of your favourite toppings, from various types of cheese and spicy meats to roasted vegetables and wild mushrooms. Gluten free options and vegan friendly cheese are available too.
You’ll be spoilt for choice by their beers in their tap house. Championing the best independent breweries in the capital and craft beers from across the UK, there’s something to suit all palates. Each pizza comes with the restaurant’s own beer pairing recommendation. You can even pop by to pick up beers to enjoy at home from the bottle shop.

The museum includes the original Grade II listed Engine House building and showcases a masterpiece of Victorian engineering. The site acted as an important sewage treatment works and pumping station in the 1800s and early 1900s.
